Fanboy At Large (FAL) is a Gaming Blog, focussed on the roleplaying game Dungeons & Dragons, but also covering many other games and formats.

FAL is currently written exclusively by its founder Magnus Seter, but he is hoping to avoid writing about himself in third person for very much longer. New and opiniated writers will be recruited!

Magnus Seter
A writer and game designer with international expericene. I started playing games in 1982 with a Swedish translation of Basic Roleplaying called Drakar och Demoner. My experiences with the game shaped me as a writer and designer, and like many other gamers I soon started writing adventures and rules. One fateful day in 1989 I submitted a bunch of stuff to R. Talsorian Games, and since they are great people as well as great game designers, they let me be part of the playtest for Cyberpunk 2020 and later let me write two short scenarios for the EuroTour book. After that I was confident enough to propose articles to other publishers. The largest of my assignments was the co-design and writing of the first Mutant Chronicles RPG. I’ve also worked on Kult and MERP and have written several scenarios and articles for various gaming magazines. I played a small part in the hugely succcesful rerelease of the Drakar och Demoner game in 2000, and also in the launch of the very popular print gaming magazine Fenix in 2004. Today I work as a writer in the field of interactive communication, and do occassional work for computer games for PC, console or mobile devices, as well as a scriptwriter for comics.
